Ellie was so excited waiting for them to come!
Thursday night we went over to show them the temple. It was cool because they got to see a glimpse of the Easter pageant, since they were rehearsing (can't wait to go next week with my parents!). It also was nice because the boys got to walk around after being in the car all day.

Friday was Kurt's birthday! He turned the big 2-6! To celebrate Kurt wanted to show Kristi and Kara the Fashion Square Mall. They thought it was huge and really liked looking around.
Ellie fell asleep on the car ride there. She looks so uncomfortable to me, but every time I'd fix her head she would let it fall back down!
At the mall Kristi's friend (from when they lived in Florida), Becca, met up with us. While they were catching up and Kara shopped ;], I told Kurt he should pick something he really wanted to do, and that it would make his day special. Kurt decided he wanted to go to see The Hunger Games. We were both excited, but since we were at the mall, we couldn't leave Ellie with them. For that, I was also a little nervous. I was worried she'd get fussy in the movie. Thank goodness though, Ellie was an angel and slept the whole time. She did get a little hungry, but I was able to feed her, and she fell right back to sleep. Kurt and I loved it! Following this, we had dinner at Rainforest Cafe. We were so excited, and had even set up a reservation. We went here on our honeymoon, and we went here earlier this year to celebrate our anniversary. However, this time after receiving terrible service in multiple ways (no drink refills - ever, 1.5 hr before receiving food - had to ask for it when they weren't that busy, and mistakes on checks 3+ times = 30+ minutes of waiting) we all received a free meal, Kurt was given a volcano (large dessert with brownies, hot fudge, whipped cream, and ice cream = $15.99), and they sang to him. It was a bummer that our service was so poor, but at least the pizza Kurt and I ordered was delish and our meal was free! Following this, we went over to Becca and Justin's house to spend our evening hanging out. It was a lot of fun, and we are so excited to have met some new friends down here!

Saturday we decided we wanted to be out and about, so first thing we did was go swimming! I sat with Ellie and had to take pictures of Kurt with the boys. Kara was just soaking up the sun, and Kristi went and exercised.

After swimming we decided to head on over to the batting cages. Kurt loves going there and it was great exercise for everyone! I actually got to hit 2 rounds this time since I wasn't pregnant!

After the batting cages we headed on over to an outdoor mall for the boys to play around. It was a lot of fun. Then we headed over to a Mexican restaurant Becca recommended and Justin met up with us after work. Afterwards we came home and watched some movies. It was a great way to spend their last day with us before the left Sunday morning. All in all, it was great having them, making new friends, and celebrating Kurt's birthday!
