This last weekend we went up to Montana to visit my family. We were so excited to go, especially since we hadn't seen Lindsay's family for almost a year and a half. They hadn't even met Ellie!
We decided to go watch airplanes landing and taking off one day. I thought it was so cute seeing all the kids sitting up on the van roof.
Jameson is quite the little character. He warmed up to us right away even though the first got in aft 10 at night. Here he is roaring like a monster at me.
I thought it was cute seeing Kamiah leaning back and smiling at the camera. She is such a great little helper. When we were all in a rush getting ready for church she watched Ellie.
Halle loves Rainbow so much that she wanted me to take her picture instead of Halle's! Then of course, I had to show her the photo.

Another day we decided to go to Lake Elmo and feed the ducks and then going play on the playground.
Everyone had some bread for the ducks and they weren't shy at all.
My mom and Ellie. Of the three pictures, there wasn't one where they both had their eyes open, so I chose the one where my mom mainly did, and Ellie was squinting.

So did Ellie. It was her first time going down slides (This time Daddy helped, but she did fly solo at one point)
Ellie loves getting into anything and everything. Here she was playing with all of the church magazines and sporting the, "Uh oh, you caught me" face.

This picture is out of order, but it's from today, since we came back from our trip yesterday. Isn't it so precious seeing her sleep? I hardly get to capture these moments anymore, since she is such a light sleeper.
It was such a great time getting to go see everyone, and we are so sad that we had to leave. Here's to hoping it isn't another year and a half until we see the Evans family!
