8 Months

Ellie has turned the official 8 months old today. Time sure flies by!

• She cut her two bottom teeth on Saturday.
• She now is a binky girl. After several weeks of not sleeping much at all I knew it was time to try some pacifiers. She didn't like any of the previous ones we had, so we tried the MAMs. They are GOLDEN! It's been great the past several weeks of her having them. She even fell asleep at church once! Talk about a miracle!
• Ellie crawls on her elbows and knees everywhere. Oddly enough, it reminds me of a crocodile. She pulls up on everything now, with her favorite being Mt. Mommy. She has just started to pull up to standing lately, and has even done it in the crib once. Looks like we need to lower it soon! 
• She sure is a smart little girl. One day she didn't want to be in her swing anymore, and so instead of fussing, she stuck out her leg and stopped the swing to just chill there.
• She sure loves jumping in her jumperoo. She just goes and goes and goes. (Where do they get all that energy?)
• She distinctly says momma now, and sometimes calls for me when I go in another room, that is, if she isn't following me first.
• She weighs somewhere between 14 lbs and 14.5 lbs.
• I'm transitioning her from 0-3 month clothes to 3-6 months. 
• Her favorite place to crawl is off in the corner between the couch and coffee table. All that's in between the two is an empty diaper bag, the boppy, and a lamp. However, she loves it. 
• She loves kicking things, whether it be the wall, a box, kicking to get her swing to move above her, or kicking pillows off our egg chair.
• She has figured out how to turn the Xbox on and off. (Uh oh!)

These are just a few things about our sweet little girl. We sure do love her!!!
